About Us
In Islam, caring for orphans and the poor is among the most beloved deeds to Allah. The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The one who cares for an orphan and I will be together in Paradise like this,”
and he held his two fingers together (Bukhari).
Today, millions of children in worldwide suffer from poverty, hunger, and the loss of their parents. These innocent lives depend on the mercy and generosity of others. Supporting them is not just an act of charity — it is a duty of faith and compassion.
Allah ﷻ commands in the Qur’an:
“And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive.”
(Surah Al-Insan 76:8)
When we sponsor or assist an orphan, we are not only easing their hardship but also earning continuous reward (sadaqah jariyah). Providing education, food, and shelter gives these children hope and dignity — and revives the spirit of ummah (community) that Islam calls for.
Supporting innocent children worldwide is an opportunity to embody mercy and faith in action. It is a way to gain Allah’s pleasure, strengthen the bonds of the Muslim world, and make a lasting difference in the lives that the world has forgotten.
Innocent Child aims to work across the world to support those who are struggling with poverty in developing countries, whether they are suffering from natural disasters & poverty. It is our aim to provide relief and self-sustaining development programs, investing in real/practical solutions for those in need.
We aim to work year-round to establish education, healthcare, and income-generation programmes for communities around the globe. We also provide food packs, medical aid, clean water as well as disaster relief through emergencies to helping save lives.
The Innocent Child team has the capability to gain access to the most difficult and hard-to-reach countries in the world during times of vulnerability.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said
“Give (in charity) and do not give reluctantly lest Allah should give you in a limited amount; and do not withhold your money lest Allah should withhold it from you.”
[Bukhari 3:764]

More About Us
Innocent Child is an International Charity dedicated to the long-term holistic development of children in poverty.
Our International Head Office is based in Manchester, United Kingdom. Innocent Child was established in 2001 with a view to working for the needy all around the Globe. After obtaining charitable status in October 2003, Innocent Child is working and aims to enable the children of the Developing World to gain dignity and future prosperity for themselves and their communities by providing education. Education is absolutely key to the long-term success of developing countries and is something we really take for granted in the developed world. The overall vision of the charity is saving the Innocent; this was given by Master Faisal Hussain (then 12 years old). Mission Statement Bring a smile to a suffering child with dedication in care and scrutiny in the disbursement of funding. This is a one 2 one orphan sponsorship scheme where a donor adopts a child who is fatherless and is very keen to study.
Aims and Objectives Innocent Child exists as an advocate for children, releasing them from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enabling them to become responsible adults. We commit to directly impacting each child’s individual development. We have seen over and over again that what happens in the life of a child is much more significant than what happens in the environment that surrounds the child. We commit to holistic development – developing minds, bodies and spirits. All of our child development programmes provide opportunities that encourage healthy development in four areas – spiritual, physical, social and economic. We commit to educating and challenging our sponsors about poverty and development. As advocates for children, we will help our sponsors understand the complex issues of poverty and the effects of poverty on children and their development. Trust and Management Trustees are responsible for activities of the charity. They make sure that money is used only for the purpose for which it was raised. Child sponsorship funds must be used to develop the children who are sponsored. Our Child sponsorship programme is completely focused on the development of these children. Trustees are also responsible to make sure the highest industry standards for the use of funds and keeping the administrative and fundraising cost as low as possible, balancing this with the need for quality and integrity. Being financially accountable. We take our role as stewards of resources very seriously. We regularly perform audits to ensure that our programmes are being well managed and that funds are being properly disbursed and applied.
